Below is a "small story board" that project about "The Raven".
Field Trip Reflection
The 3 sites we went to were the Track Field, the Visual Arts Center and the William Keck Science Building. We chose those three places because they were all interesting. The Track Field was interesting because some people think college is all about “academic” classes and not a lot of people take the time to think that sports are really important. The Visual Arts Center was AMAZING. We got to see the Stanford Family, many paintings of people and outdoor art like statues (a lot of statues). The William Keck Science Building was pretty cool, too, but we didn’t get to explore it much because of time. Everything we would have seen would have been amazing because they are always learning new things. Those sites are important because they all mean something such as why they were built. I LOVED the nature of UC Santa Cruz but I also LOVED that there is a lot of student participation at Stanford. I was surprised that its surroundings, such as the trees at Santa Cruz or the involvement of the students at Stanford, can change how 7th grade students look at the school. I think I am looking for a place where there is a lot of nature but also students being involved at the school.
